Sitar lessons with Ustad Dharambir Singh are very inspiring. I started learning with him, both with Skype and in person last year. He is methodically showing me the building blocks of raga and tala so that I can practice being creative whilst staying within the correct framework. I aim to give a small performance next year of this music.

The simple answer is Alhaiya Bilaval. Lessons have included strategies for alaap, jor, jhalla and vilambit teental gat that could be applied to, in theory, any other raag.
